Located just three streets back from the beautiful Lake Victoria, within close proximity to the Lakes National Park which is spread over more than 2,300 hectares and comprising Sperm Whale Head Peninsula, the park contains a wide representation of coastal vegetation, fauna and bird life. The park is also home to mammals such as the Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Swamp Wallaby, Hog Deer, Echidna, Koala and Common Bush tail Possum the perfect venue for bush lovers.

Over 41,000 hectares of lake system for the boating or fishing enthusiast to enjoy, and direct access the The Ninety Mile Beach.

The Birdlands is a double storey home that offers three bedrooms, and has plenty of room for the whole family to spread out in and enjoy. The lower level  of  the property is open plan living containing  a modern kitchen with electric appliances. The dining and lounge area is also located within this space downstairs. The property houses two bathrooms one on this level and a European laundry that is hidden under the stairway.

Leading up the internal timber stairs to the top level which houses the second living space which is central to the three bedrooms and second bathroom of the home.

Large sliding doors off the lounge take you out to a large tiled undercover patio area, which is the perfect spot to sit and relax and enjoy the cool sea breezes in the late afternoon.

Both levels of The Birdlands are heated and cooled by a reverse cycle and with the added bonus of double glazed windows to keep it cool in the summer months and warm in winter.

Plenty of room for open air parking with a gravel driveway, lots of open space for the children to play.

Rates

Christmas bookings – Arrival dates are not accepted on Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Years Day as the office is closed.

This property has a standard rate of: $1300.00 per week

$200.00 per night – minimum of 2 nights stay

Long Weekends – minimum of 3 nights stay


Unless specified in the rate table or exceptions listed below, the standard rate will apply.

  • Bond payable $500.00

Cleaning

You do not need to do a full clean of the property upon departure, however we do require the homes to be left clean and tidy on departure in a similar state as to how you found the property upon your arrival. If the property is not left in a reasonable standard an additional charge for cleaning will be deducted from your bond.  We do organise for the property to be cleaned after your departure to ensure that the next guest has a hygienic comfortable stay and complies with our standards.
